I made up the Friday press WOD offsite @125.

Then I worked on rows of varying lengths at 250, 500, 750, and 1000m sprints.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    “Amanda”!

Folks – please note we’ll have regular gym hours on Sunday, but the GYM WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, AND WE’LL BE HAVING A WOD-NIC IN CENTRAL PARK AT THE PINETUM INSTEAD.

11AM WOD, 12PM Picnic; all are welcome. The more the merrier.

DNF, felt intense burning in inner right wrist. But first time trying it rx’ed, so it’s all good.

Coach B gave a world-class warmup and skill session this morning. He’s a master of CF in the truest sense. I am so glad I came in to train today, even though I was pretty beat!

    4 rounds + 5 pull ups

    17:05 @ 75#

Slow and steady shoulder recovery. Did not want too much weight overhead. Dadhangs for the first 80 pullups and on Brendan’s encouragement, did baby kips for the last 10.

    8:09 as rx’d.

Thanks Pmidg for the push. Fun times pushing it with you this morning. I’d also like to second your words on the warmup. We’re so fortunate to have Bboy and his deep knowledge and love of CF. I came in beat up from a hard week of training and left having done the best OHS of my short time with CF. It’s mornings like this that remind me why I love CF and our expression of it even more.

Dcasey, way to finish bro. Glad to be by your side cheering you on through that last grueling set.

Enjoy the beautiful day and have a great weekend everyone!!

16:58 with 45 lbs. Shoulder and hip flexibility issues in ohs. For pullups, did some regular, some jumping at Jared bar, and some jumping on high bar.

I don’t remember posting that I was going to do the 9:30 WOD today, but did I tell someone that, who then told others????

Why am I asking? I was all by myself! Are my posts on this blog that offensive?

You know what it is like to get team trained by America’s Favorite Crossfit Couple???? I don’t know what the warm-up was like for the rest of you, but I think 10 rounds of 2 hill sprints and 20 burpess is a bit excessive. And then 10 minutes in a squat followed by 20 jump squats. No wonder I felt gassed in the WOD!

    Let’s go Devils!

5,000 meter row. 22:18. That row machine is an amazing workout.

    Favorite WOD’s

Fran: The start of it all. Watch the Greg Glassman interview when he explains how he came up with Fran. And, there is nothing in the world like vomiting in your mouth even before you start.

As to the heros, there is none greater than Murph. Michael Murphy’s story alone gives me the chills. The workout has become my Memorial Day tradition, and a great tribute to our fallen heros. Murph is in a class of its own.

Have a happy Memorial Day to all.

Wouldn’t have finished w.o bfarrel. Thanks for the help, even if you did try to sell me short 30 seconds

When I did CF my favorite workouts were “Grace”, “Nancy” with guys rx & “Isabell” (we named our puppy after that one.)

Do the OHS unbroken, no excuses. I dropped the bar in the round of 15 with 2 left. Wasted a ton of time. Also, push really hard because this should be a fairly fast WOD.
