Heads up! Classes may run a little late tomorrow, and will be relatively unstructured. The back of the gym will be reserved for warming up the snatch, and the front of the gym will be running heats.

Be sure to arrive extra early if you have plans after!

CrossFit Open Workout 17.3

*Prior to 8:00, complete:
3 rounds of:
6 chest-to-bar pull-ups
6 squat snatches, (95 / 65 lb.)
Then, 3 rounds of:
7 chest-to-bar pull-ups
5 squat snatches (135 / 95 lb.)
*Prior to 12:00, 3 rounds of:
8 chest-to-bar pull-ups
4 squat snatches (185 / 135 lb.)
*Prior to 16:00, 3 rounds of:
9 chest-to-bar pull-ups
3 squat snatches (225 / 155 lb.)
*Prior to 20:00, 3 rounds of:
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
2 squat snatches (245 / 175 lb.)
Prior to 24:00, 3 rounds of:
11 chest-to-bar pull-ups
1 squat snatch (265 / 185 lb.)

*If all reps are completed, time cap extends by 4 minutes.

Post rounds/reps completed to comments and/or submit your score as part of the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games Open.

    The A Team won Spirit points again in week 2 for having more athletes compete during Saturday morning classes, putting them ahead for the second week in a row. 17.3 calls for a shakeup on this leaderboard, so show up and throw down! Good luck everyone!

      How does this work. If the workout is done again, do you have the option of posting a new score if the second workout is better?

      If you are going to do the wod again, don’t post your score. Once you’ve done it again, post your best score.

    36 Rx 7:40 tiebreak

    PR more C2B today than I’ve done the rest of my life. The key was watching ERoc’s insta video right before bed time and I magically woke up with them.

    well i knew it wouldn’t be a great day but I thought maybe I would get further than I did. No luck. For all the reasons, the squat snatch is my worst move. Thank you, wonky shoulder mobility. BUT I know it, and something I really need to work on. Goal for next open.

    Attempted Rx couldn’t get through the first round so went scaled. Shoulders were burnt but worked through it.
    69-scaled. On a positive, chest to bars pull ups felt great (at least the first 6 I did Rx lol 🙂

    68 Rx (11 snatches at 95), 3:22 tiebreak.
    Chad beat me on the tiebreak!!! C2Bs went about as well as I could have hoped! Failed one snatch at 95, and got one no rep on c2b, otherwise went really well.
    Loved this workout, wish I had more time to finish the last 4 reps.

    Snatches even with just the bar are tough for me (worried that my shoulder is going to do something it shouldn’t) but got
    4 reps @ 55#. Score was 47 reps scaled. Thanks Eroc for all of the snatch tips and pointers!

    43 rx. 4:14 tie break. Pretty bummed to miss all of my 135 attempts. Oh well

    Post suck-fest hypertrophy in the garage:

    Bench 8-8-8-8-8
    135-135-140-140-145(pr for 8)

    3 sets of
    5 pendlay row – 135
    10 barbell curl – 55

    Originally planned 5 sets but I think I pulled off the floor plenty this morning
